Carroll Cox's question of the day:  Is Hannemann's statement about Abercrombie's age valid?  Age discrimination and the suggestion you automatically become incapacitated at a certain age not only is in bad form, it is illegal.  Also, what about his statement about running on race?  If all this is good, shouldn't we also be questioning Mufi's own health issues?   Does he have diabetes, heart problems, or other debilitating illnesses that could impede his own ability to do the job in the same way he infers candidates older than him are not viable because "old people"  have mental and physical health problems.   A 70 year-old man can be healthier than a 50 year-old.  He should let us know what his own health status is. According to the rules of Hannemann, a senior citizen making ends meet as a fast food cashier cannot make a sandwich or cut the mustard.   How about your own physician, or your minister? This is the classic Hannemann - pointing the finger but never looking at himself in the mirror.  So, once again, why should Mufi  be trusted?  Everytime he wants to justify something he tells us Senator Inouye supports him.  Why would he say his opponent in the governor's race is too old and has reached his limit when his hero and mentor,  who gives him guidance, is one of the oldest senators in D.C.   Mufi needs a reality check.
