PODCAST

    SUNDAY, November 7, 2010

Carroll talks with Mrs. Ethel Min who, after working 20 years for a contractor handling the Department of Labor's Job Corps, was fired at the age of 82.   She was injured at work but was denied worker's comp as well as retirement benefits.   Prior to this she received excellent reviews.   We are asking the Department of Labor why.  Listen to her stories about teaching at the job corps.

SPECIAL FAVORS DOG CITY GOVERNMENT!    Andy Anderson lost his dog.   The city sent out a picture and requested  city workers to be on the lookout for the dog.  Andy Anderson wants to build a hotel in Haleiwa.  We sincerely hope he finds his dog (pictured here), but why does het get special treatment?   (See attached emails and ad received from anonymous source)

MORE FAVORS - The Department of Land and Natural Resources kept vacant the position of head of  Law Enforcement for more than a year, until Mark Young, favored by DLNR head Laura Thielen, could leave the Coast Guard and take up the DLNR  position.  Now, we hear he might be leaving the job after five months.  DLNR has not responded to our inquiries.  We wonder why.

Polo is missing - have you seen him?
