Carroll's guests, Michael Golojuch, Jr. of PFLAG-Oahu, and Holly J. Huber of Hawaii Citizens for the Separation of State and Church, discuss civil rights and lobbying by nonprofits, particularly the Hawaii Family Forum. Everyone's input must be equally considered, not just big companies and Christian religious groups backed by large amounts of money. (Note - Lt. Gov. Aiona and some City Council members are openly and actively advocating Hawaii be declared an "All Christian State"!)

Also, a note regarding our 6/20 show about the Hawaii Business Roundtable letter requesting the veto of HB444 - over 50% of companies have now disclaimed the letter. Some of the companies that have not responded include Castle & Cook, Hunt's Development Group, Kaneohe Ranch, Hawaiian Cement, Kobayashi Group, Kaiser Foundation, Kamehameha Schools, Farmers Insurance, Hawaiian Dredging, C.S. Wo, Hawaii Diver's Jewelry, and Marathon Group.
